INTERNATIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The ideal candidate should have excellent written/verbal communication skills, extensive working knowledge of all Microsoft programs/applications, and 3+ years’ experience working in international sales for womens’ intimate apparel, loungewear, or contemporary.

 


PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Primary point of contact for all international accounts

• Negotiate contracts (including discounts, payment terms, etc.) with all international distributors

• Provide necessary documentation (i.e. commercial invoices, COO’s, etc.) required for international shipments

• Maintain client relationships, generate/manage new accounts & sales, retain distributors                         

• Develop and manage sales strategies for different international regions
• Travel for tradeshows will be required

• Manage Gross Profit, Expense, Sales Productivity, Customer Service, etc.

 

IMPORTANT SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
• Valid and current passport required for overseas travel

• Proven sales background in womens’ contemporary/intimate apparel

• Experience handling international accounts is a must (cultural understanding, advanced language ability)
• Familiar with international shipping and payment policies

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Excellent customer service communication skills, both written and interpersonal

• Accounting and billing experience a plus.

• Ability to work independently and “own” individual business

• Ability to multi-task and set appropriate deadlines.
